Thames Valley Environmental Records Centre (TVERC) is a non-profit organisation. They have a number of funding partners with which they share up-to-date species and site information from the Thames Valley in Oxfordshire and Berkshire. The data is received from anywhere from the general public to professionals working for wildlife charities and government agencies.
The River Thame Conservation Trust contributes to this database and also has access to the other information that TVERC holds. This data is vital in helping us decide where we will monitor and also for planning projects. TVERC provide information to the public and to commercial organisations who have important interactions with the local environment. It is versatile data which is used by landowners, conservationists, teachers, and planning authorities. If you would like access to this data, or to get involved with collecting it, visit their website at: http://www.tverc.org/cms/
