The Hurst Water Meadow Trust manages three water meadows next to the Thame on the outskirts of Dorchester-on-Thames. The three meadows are the Hurst Water Meadow, the Old Bridge Meadow, and Overy Mead Piece. The Trust maintain the meadows for the public to enjoy whilst also trying to promote biodiversity. They engage the public in education about the meadows so that people can understand the ecology and utilise the area safely. They have a number of volunteers that help to maintain the area. The Hurst Water Meadow Trust works alongside the River Thame Conservation Trust to provide a pleasant environment for wildlife and humans along the river. You can find more information on their website.
