River Wildlife Pottery Workshop

Saturday 26th April 1 pm – 4 pm

Join local artist V Hayward for a creative afternoon making clay creatures inspired by the incredible wildlife of the River Thame. While you sculpt your animal, you’ll also learn about the habitats they live in and simple ways you can help protect them.

The session is drop-in style, and we recommend allowing around 1.5 hours to create your piece. You’re welcome to stay longer to add extra details, or make something smaller in less time.

It can get messy, so come in old clothes or bring an apron! All ages are welcome (including adults!). Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Suggested donation: £10

All proceeds will go towards River Thame Conservation Trust’s Big Give Green Match Fund campaign, which means every pound you donate will be doubled!

How to find us: The workshop will be held Lopemede Farm, Long Crendon Road, Thame, OX9 3SH.

There is walking access from both Thame (20 minutes) and Long Crendon (18 minutes) along the B4011 (though not for unaccompanied children!)
